Good cycle back from work!

That was a good cycle back from work! I left my bike at work over night. Then got a lift home last night, then got a life back into working today!

Took me just over 2 hours, to cycle back home. Which is not the best time in the world! Took a while, since it was a bit on the windy side! But at least, the wind give me a good reason to stop and take a good number of photos!

You can check out the statistics and the route I took at www.strava.com/activities/672364086.

Carbisdale Castle to Loch Ness : 7 years ago

So this time 7 year ago, I would have been somewhere between Carbisdale Castle and Loch Ness, on the third day of the End to End cycle!

You can check out the third day of the route at www.strava.com/activities/445506866.

About time these bar’s got a refit!

Someone asked me, what they were doing to bar 1 at my place of work! They were removing the bar shutters! Here is a photo of bar 2, still with the shutters. Even just by removing them, the bar feels much better!

Really can’t want till next Friday, when I will have a whole new and bigger bar!

First cycle to work of 2016, DONE!

Garmin Edge 1000 - 10-08-2016That’s the first cycle to work of 2016, done at long last! The cycle took 1:35:53 (h:m:s), which is not bad going, since it’s 23.8 miles. My average speed was 14.9 mph. So the best average speed for any cycle so far this year!

Just hoping the weather is good again on Friday, so I can do it all over again!

You can check out the full statistics from the cycle at www.strava.com/activities/671282421.

Going to be cycling to work again!

Later today, I will be cycling to work for the first time this year! After getting my car serviced last week, which come to around £550. I need to find a way to save some money! So of course, cycling to and from work, is a great way to do it!

So here is a video from a number of years back, to show you the route, I will be going! 🙂

Tongue to Carbisdale Castle : 7 years ago

So 7 years ago today, I would have been cycling between Tongue and Carbisdale Castle, on day two of the End to End cycle!

You can check out the second day of the route at www.strava.com/activities/445506834.

WOW 7 year ago, set off on End to End cycle!

Still can’t believe that 7 years ago today, I set off on the End to End cycle! Which I would, still rate has one of the best things, I’ve done in my life!

Of, course it’s still something I would love to do again! Maybe next time, not get dumped while doing it! Well that would not be hard, since I am still very much single!! LOL! 🙂

You can check out the first day of the route, white took me from John O’Groats to Tongue at www.strava.com/activities/445506836.

More Lycra, with hand and legcuffs…

One of my mates, says I am doing way, way to much cycling. So he put hand and leg cuffs on me while out cycling. And took my bike off me, then told me to walk home like that…

Well OK, maybe not! But it would have made a HOT story! But doubt, I could walk 3+ miles home in the leg cuffs!! Also would get some right funny looks! LOL!

Then I would not care! Life is for having fun! So have fun, while you still can! That’s why, I am very open about the things I enjoy and don’t really care, what people say!

Lycra + handcuffs!

The start of my bar’s refit!

That’s my place of work, started on stage 1 of what is turning into a major revamp of the main Restaurant! They have started with bar 1 (which we often call the GAY bar!), which is the bar, I’ve mainly been working on since, I stated working at Peterborough Greyhound Stadium well over 10 year ago!

So, I will sort of miss the old bar! But it’s starting to show it’s age! So will be to nice and new and bigger bar to work on from next week! 🙂
