A look at how the government educated the nation about Aids amid rising rates of infection, with dedicated hospital wards providing a haven, but deaths continued increasing in the gay community. The stories of men including Jeremy, John, Martyn and Tony recorded at the time bring these experiences to life, with their words lip-synced by actors, giving first-hand insight into how they tried to adapt to their lives as part of the `Aids generation’ and struggled with the deaths of those they loved.

Documentary examining the collapse of the Champlain Towers South apartment building in Miami in 2021, and looking at the implications for other buildings around the world. The programme explores the factors that might have led to the collapse, and also looks to the future to ask what lessons can be learnt from this disaster.

Forty years ago, a mysterious disease first appeared in Britain’s gay community. As the crisis grew, a group of pioneering researchers began recording audio interviews with infected gay men and their friends. These interviews were archived in the British Library and have never been broadcast before. This series brings them to life with young actors who lip-sync to the original voice recordings.

The real Rohini runs her property as a yoga and alternative therapy retreat, but there is a bit of friction between the Rohinis as one reveals she’s really just in it for the money. It falls to panellists Judi Love, Richard Madeley, Harry Hill and MIST to sort out the facts from the fiction.

British Planes That Won the War with Rob Bell (Channel 5/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Friday 1st July 2022)

The presenter reveals how the Lancaster bomber played a crucial role in the outcome of the Second World War. For the first time, Allied forces could take the fight to the enemy. The design for the new Lancaster bomber represented a major capability breakthrough for the Allies. Its four powerful Merlin engines allowed it to carry the largest bombs used by the RAF.
