August 2012 cycling statistics
Here are my cycling statistics for August 2012. I did 803.64 miles, making it the second most, I have ever done in a single month. Only second place to the End to End cycle month back in August 2009. I also did more miles using the bike than the car. I only used the car for 592.3 miles.
So far my yearly stands at 4,061.2 miles. Total miles since April 2003 now stands at 25,687. So I break the 26,000 mile mark before the year is out!!

- Avg Speed: 12.5 mph
- Max Time: 8:01:12 (h:m:s)

Vlog: Garmin Edge 705 GPS and Lycra
Another cycle vlog filmed next to the ECML. This time I am wearing the Agu Rabobank Team cycling kit, while talking about my Garmin Edge 705 GPS and some other boring stuff.
Only 332.8 miles till 5,000 cycling
I only have 332.8 miles left to do this year, then I can say I have done 5,000 miles on the bike in one year. I WILL make it, well that’s if the weather plays ball. I would be pissed off if I only missed 5,000 by lets say 200 miles.
Oh and now I have fully working Internet. It’s time I make up for lost time. And get posting new photos, vlogs etc. So here are the two photos from today’s cycle.

I am sure that most you of will know that the Tour of Britain is on this week. So I was just looking around on flickr to see what photos I could find. Found this photo of Theo Bos. Think it’s the best photo I have ever found of him. Let’s just say it made me very, very happy indeed :).

More cycling gear on the way
I have just gone and ordered some more cycling gear. Since the evenings are getting colder and Wiggle have a sale on. I sent off for some Agu Rabobank Team arm and leg warmers. They will finish off the rest of the Agu Rabobank Team gear that I have.

Getting them for £20.80. Full price would be £32, so making a saving of £11.20 (35%).

Getting them for £33.60. Full price would be £48, so making a saving of £14.40 (30%).
Once they turn up, I will make sure I get lots of photos wearing them with the rest of the cycling set.
New cycling gear on the way :)
I have just gone and spent £133.50 on some new cycling gear :). Been after some new gear for a while. So after asking people on facebook what I should get, lots of people said I should get the Rabobank team kit. Also lots of straight lads from work said I should get it. So that will be a first for me, having straight lads telling me what gear to get! Just hope I look half has good in it, as Theo Bos does :).
