I’ve added the following:-
- Apsley House, London
- Jewel Tower, London
- Rufford Abbey, Nottinghamshire
Had a great week seeing some of my family
During my week off work, I spent the week up in Clumber Park. Seeing my older brother Douglas and my Mum and Dad!
List of things, I did with my older brother Douglas and my Mum and Dad
- Lots of walking around Clumber Park
- Walk around Sherwood Forest
- Went to the Rufford Abbey Country Park (The Abbey is English Heritage)
- Visit to Bolsover Castle (English Heritage)
Things, I did just with Douglas
- Went to the Isle of Wight for like 2 hours, all the way from Newark. So we could use the hovercraft
- Went to London…. We did so much…
- Apsley House (English Heritage)
- Jewel Tower (English Heritage)
- Great walk around parts of Hyde Park
- The Natural History Museum
- V&A
- Used the Elizabeth line for the first time
- Ticked off a good number of new railway stations
Now looking forward to going up Scotland in next month or so…
OMG! Love the Elizabeth line!!
OMG! Love the Elizabeth line in the London! So glad, I’ve used it at long last! I will tick off, even more stations along the line, when I next to to London.

Now been to four new railway stations during 2021
So far only been to four new railway stations during 2021… Hoping to at least double that before the year is out!
- Clapham Junction – 17th June 2021
- Dover Priory – 16th June 2021
- London Blackfriars – 1st October 2021
- Vauxhall – 17th June 2021

Battersea Power Station Underground station, tick!!
So happy with myself, that I’ve ticked off Battersea Power Station Underground station. Since the line and station ONLY opened on the 20th September 2021!
London Blackfriars railway station, tick!
At long, long last, I can tick off, London Blackfriars.

Pride in London cancelled for second year
Well that’s Pride in London cancelled for second year in a row! But do think it’s for the best! But, I had been looking forward to it! Then way to many people have not been double vaccinated!! So it would not have been anywhere close to 75% safe going!!
Now really looking forward to London Pride 2022, since it will be best one YET!!!

Been great seeing the family after 18 months!
Been great getting to travel again and of course, been even better getting to see my family for first time in over 18 months! Longest time, I’ve not seen any of them since the day I was born!
