Passed my driving test 16 years ago!!
WOW! I passed my driving test 16 years ago today! I was very late starting, did not start learning till I was 23 and passed when I was 24! But most people, now learn the second they turn 17. Back then, I had no interest at learning at all! When I was 17, I was way, way to busy coming out and going out on the LGBT scene in Glasgow!
During them 16 years. Only owned two cars, the first being a Seat Ibiza Hatchback 1.4 SXE 5. Then my current car, which is Hyundai i10 Style, which I got back in 2009.
My car has done 100,000 miles!
I really can’t believe that my car, has now done 100,000 miles! Just to think, that I’ve had him since he was born! Got him way back in 2009! Just hope, he’s still got, a good number of miles left in him yet!

Scotland December Tour 2014 : Day 2
Here are the first lot of photos from my second day of my mini tour of Scotland. Sorry no photos, at all from the first day. Due to the weather.
I did not travel far at all today. Just went to the local distillery, which is called Glengoyne Distillery. Just down the road from Killearn. Then I went to Balfron to take some photos of the “new” high school. The one I went to, is long gone!
Car just cost £492.62 to get fixed!!!
Many of you will know, that I should have got to Scotland by now!! I was due to drive up on Sunday. But on Friday night on the way back from work, my car started to make a hell of a noise. So I took it to the local garage Saturday morning.
They took one look at it and said looks like one of the brake calipers have gone. They put it up on the ramps and trying to spin the back wheel and it just stopped!! So they told me, it was best not to drive it!
Just a new caliper cost £209! Then it needed a new break disc and pads. Then add labour to that. It came to a total of £492.62!
At least my car is back on the road. So I can now set off to Scotland in the morning. Some 48 hours later, then I was first hoping…
