So sorry about the lack of updates since getting to Scotland on the 24th. Just been very busy seeing family and friends :). I hope that you all had a great Christmas.
Guess I should tell you want I got for Christmas. From my brother Craig I got the Harry Potter – The Complete 8-Film Collection on Blu-ray of course. From Mum and Dad I got the Human Planet and Doctor Who – The Complete Series 5 both on Blu-ray.

Every year the Peterborough Greyhound restaurant and kitchen staff go out for a Christmas meal. Believe it or not. It’s only the second time I have ever been. Which is bad since I have been working at the dog track since 2003. The last time I went was 2009.
I mainly went this year, since every year I hear so many stories about all the things that happened. So this year, I wanted to see it for myself :).
It was a good night, other than one of the young ones being sick all over this table! So can’t see the Ibrahimi Restaurant having us back again next year!

I did the long boring drive back Killearn to back to my village of Little Bytham a journey of around 320 miles. Think I did it in record time! Will not say how I did that! 🙂 I also went a new way, for a section of the journey. I used what years ago was the A74, which is now called the B7076, mainly used it, since I am so bored on the A74(M), also did it, since I used that road while doing the End to End cycle back in August 2009. So it was nice to get to see it again!
Once back in I had all the fun of unpacking everything. Then I had fun setting up my Sony BDP S370 Blu-ray Player which I got from my Mum and Dad has a Christmas present. The video quality is so good, reminds me of when I first went from VHS to DVD. Also great to get to watch HD stuff on my HD ready TV in my bed room at long last. So looking forward to watching one of my Blu-ray films in the next day or so. I already have a good list to pick from The Dark Knight, Sherlock, Top Gear: Polar Special, Newcastle – Australia and Torchwood – Children of Earth.

Speaking about that I made it to Scotland in the end. If you watched my last vlog, you would have heard me saying I was no longer going due to the weather.
In this vlog I speak mainly about what I got for Christmas, which include the Russell Howard live dingledodies DVD, Beautiful People series 1, Depeche Mode: the best of and also a Humax Freesat+ HD box.
Speaking about having to cancelling to my planned trip to Scotland to see my family over Christmas period, due to all the ice and snow. Just to add to it, I do the vlog, while having a shower in my Orca S2 wetsuit.
