Here is mini list of my Highlights of 2024 so far…

Going to London with my Work Wife!

Holiday in the Lake District with Bugsy and Mark G.

Walking the Weavers Way long-distance path from Cromer to Great Yarmouth. Covering a distance of 61 miles.

Going to Scotland with my Work Wife!

And of course, getting out lots of cycles!

Still to come this year…

Holiday in Edinburgh, with Mark G, his Mum and Dad, along with Bugsy and Ted.
Using the Levenmouth Rail Link.
Starting another long-distance. This time the John Muir Way.
Ticking off at least 3 or 4 new railway stations.
Doing a Hidden London Tour.
Having a family holiday in Scotland for my Dad’s 80th Birthday!

First railway trip of 2023, booked!

Happy days. That’s me booked my first railway trip of 2023. Which will take us from Grantham to Harrogate. Which will tick off one new railway station for myself and two for Bugsy.

Then we are walking the Dales Way Link – Harrogate to Ilkley. Which covers around 16 miles, should take us between 6 to 8 hours.

Then we are getting the train back from Ilkley to Grantham via Leeds. Since it was only around £8 more, we are going First Class between Leeds and Grantham. Which will be a first for Bugsy!

So looking forward to this! Plus it’s a test day for doing the rest of the Dales Way in April…
