Behind the scenes on the Bealach Mor, one of Britain’s toughest cycling events, in which riders take on the Applecross Peninsula’s mountainous terrain, on a 90-mile ride that includes the iconic Bealach Na Baa – the steepest climb of any bike race in the UK. In the town of Tain, glass designer Brodie is working to re-open his onsite gallery with a brand-new range of work inspired by nature. Nearby, cheesemaker Rory Stone is giving a traditional Highland cheese a modern makeover.

In Hornsea, new recruit Liam joins an independent lifeboat. Can he pass the gruelling tests that will enable him to save lives at sea? In Burton Constable, we discover the remains of an ocean giant washed up on the Holderness shoreline that appears in the literary classic Moby Dick. Glampsite owners Ed and Verity create a bespoke tent with glorious views of Whitby’s gothic abbey.

As they reach the halfway point on the tour, some of the group start to struggle and the success of the trip is thrown into question. Freddie prepares the boys for their toughest cricket match so far and smarten them up for a prestigious event with members of Kolkata’s high society.

The third leg sees the teams racing from the cobblestoned town of Lencois in the state of Bahia to the metropolis of Sao Paulo in a 2,400km budget-busting journey through Brazil’s biggest cities. Leaders Jeff and Freddy set off just over 15 hours ahead of their closest rivals and plan to commemorate Freddy’s mum in Salvador. Kola and Mary Ellen struggle as they miss the last bus out of Lencois, and Kelly and Jeremy prioritise speed as they leave the checkpoint almost a day behind the front runners. Scott and Sam feel the pressure in last place and work hard to find a much-needed budget boost.

Broadcaster Kelly Brook and her husband Jeremy, actor Kola Bokinni and his cousin Mary Ellen, radio host Scott Mills and his husband Sam and broadcaster Jeff Brazier and his son Freddy continue their trek to the Andes. Now in Brazil, their race to Frutillar in southern Chile gets underway. The four teams must leave the beach town of Canoa Quebrada and race through the north-east region of Brazil to their second checkpoint Lençóis, the gateway to the sprawling Chapada Diamantina National Park. Kelly and Jeremy are first to leave, with just over an hour lead on their rivals. Narrated by John Hannah.

After transforming the lives of a group of teenage boys and a cricket club in his hometown of Preston, former England captain and TV presenter Freddie Flintoff takes his team on a cricket tour in one of the most revered cricketing nations in the world, India. Originally planned for 2022, the trip was put on hold after a life-changing accident that threatened to put a halt to the team’s dreams.

Eastbourne. Series 7, episode 6. The comedian visits Eastbourne on the southeast coast, beginning at the beautiful golden pier. She’s then off to Sovereign Harbour for a boat trip to the iconic chalk sea cliff of Beachy Head, the highest in the UK.
