I am so pleased! Did my first 40+ mile cycle of the year! In fact I did 42.25 miles. Which takes my monthly total up to 77.48 miles. Which is not bad for just 3 days into the month!
I also did some more geocaching during the cycle. I found another 6, which takes my total finds up to 240.

I am really on fire this month! So far done 459 miles. Which is 223.6 more miles than I did in November of last year (2012). It’s also the third 40+ mile cycle of the month! The way I am going, I will hit 600 miles before the month is out. Well if the weather plays nice that is!

I had great fun cycling from theBytams to Grantham, then back home via Grantham Canal and Woolsthorpe. I love cycling out that way, since I get to use National Cycle Network Route 15 (NCR 15) which runs along next to Grantham Canal for a good number of miles. Also it’s got some good hills, to give my legs a bit of a workout!

Today I give my new Trek 8.3 DS Hybrid Bike it’s first real test. Mainly since I did the longest cycle it’s done so far since getting it. Also it’s the first time I have used it off road. I used it, while cycling along the Grantham Canal towpath. I also used the bike’s bike front suspension. I normal have it locked. Since I just find, all I do is bounce up and down. So it’s nice to have suspension, but can’t see me using it that often.
