27-May-2015 : A nice mini 21 mile cycle!

At long, long last. Think I can say I’ve got the cycling bug again!! Starting to get the miles in at long last! So far done 246.93 miles this month. So only got to do another 10.8 miles and I will have done more than in May of last year

Still got a hell of a lot of catching up to do! By time, last year. I had already done 2,329.2 miles. So far, I’ve only done 692.8 miles. So in another words, I am down 1,636.4 miles on this time, last year!!

So today, I only did 21.13 miles! But every bit helps!!

25-May-2015 : Three county’s cycle

I this a three county’s cycle. Since I started off in, Lincolnshire, the county I live in. Then ended up in Leicestershire for a bit, followed by Rutland, then back into Lincolnshire.

I covered 27.72 miles, mainly on nice quiet country roads! Which are, of course my favourite type of roads. During the cycle, I even stopped to take some photos and filmed a new vlog!! 🙂

18-Feb-2015 : Starting to get back into cycling!

At long last, think I have got the cycling bug back! Did 23.13 miles, which takes my monthly total to 61.97 miles. Which is still not great, but much better than it was! They are saying it will rain tomorrow. So that, will be the real test! Will or won’t get out a cycle, that is the question!!!??

Well that was a great leisurely cycle of just over 27 miles. Which has helped me get my monthly total so far up to 336.6 miles. Which laves me with another 183 more miles to go. If I want to overtake the total that I did in April of last year. Which I am more than sure I can do. Still got 12 more days left this month.

14-Apr-2014 : Second cycle looking at Old Dalby Test Track

Today I put my bike in the back of my car. Then set up to Asfordby in Leicestershire. Then I had a fun cycle around, looking parts of the Old Dalby Test Track, that I did not see last week. Still got many more parts to check out. Since the line is 13.5 miles (21.7 km) in length.

Nice and easy 20 mile cycle

That was a nice and easy 20.08 mile cycle. Which takes my total up to 253.05 miles so far this month. So way behind on what I was hoping to get to, by this point :(.

Cycled to/from work, third Wednesday in row

Well pleased with myself. Just got back from cycling to and from work (Peterborough Greyhound Stadium) for the third Wednesday in a row! So really hope that the weather is good next Wednesday. So I can make it four in a row!

Cycled to and from work at long last!!

At long last I have gotten around to cycling to and from work for the first time this year! So in other words a 46 mile round trip! It’s taken so long to get around to it this year. Mainly due to the fact, I did not have a pannier rack, fixed to my new bike. Only got around to installing it last Saturday for the Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle.

So now I have have to hope we have great weather for the rest of August and September. So I can do it many times and save lots of money! By not having to use my car so much!

It’s been a great two days of cycling! Yesterday cycling around London on closing roads while doing the Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle. Then today, I cycled from Swavesey to Cambridge with a friend that lives in Swavesey. Using the cycle path next to the Cambridge guided busway. Then around Cambridge for a bit, before cycling back to my mates house! 🙂

23-May-2013 : I really hate, hail while cycling

What is going on with the weather right now in the UK? It’s mid-May and it’s still very cold! It was only around 6C the whole cycle and it even hailed more than once! Which is ever nice for cycling in! Thank god I found a BT phone box to hind in, for a while!
