End to End cycle (JOGLE) website been updated!

That’s me just given my End to End cycle (JOGLE) website, a very big update! Mainly due to the theme, that it had been using, is no longer supported! Also the Jetpack for WordPress plugin, will be removing it’s mobile support. So needed a theme, that has mobile theme support build in.

So please do head over to www.endtoend-cycle.com and give it a good test! Since at some point, this website could well move over to the same theme!

My favourite cycle of 2017…

My favourite cycle of 2017… Has to be the one and only cycle, that I did in Scotland this year. Which took me from Killearn up the side of the west side of Loch Lomond to Loch Long.

You can check out the full route and stats from the cycle @ www.strava.com/activities/971062599.

Here are some photos from the cycle, to show you, why I loved it so much!

First 60+ mile cycle of 2017!

That truly was a totally amazing cycle! Reminds me, why I love cycling so much! Just a great way to see amazing scenery, much better than being in a metal box!

Of course for scenery, you can’t get much better than Scotland!!! Also can tell just how much fun, I was having! Since I ended up doing the longest cycle of 2017 so far! Ended up doing 63.5 miles!

Was also good fun doing route, that I’ve not done since August 2009, when I did the End to End cycle!

So using the spire tire right now, which means. I can only go a MAX speed of 50 mph. Try driving down the A1 at that speed and see how many BEEP at you!

Hoping to get it fixed Monday or Tuesday this week! But at least, it give me a good reason to cycle to work! The first of many times this year, I am sure!

Had fun looking at the Grantham Southern Relief Road

That was a great cycle! The longest of the year so far, at 34.13 miles. Also had a look at the first part of the Grantham Southern Relief Road. Which will take the A52 away from the town centre. But it’s a good number of years away from opening! Which now, it’s just a road to nowhere! But believe, they will be linking it up the A1 next. With work staring at some point this year.

But since it’s not open at all right now, to traffic. I had a good look around and also took some photos!
