About gsvalentine

I am a 44-year-old guy, who lives in Melton Mowbray, in the East Midlands, England. I was born in Lancashire, England, during September 1979. Most people don’t believe me that I was born in England due to my strong Scottish accent. My star sign is Libra. I am 5’9” tall, 30″ waist, with blonde hair, which is sometimes short, sometimes long. I have light brown eyes. Which most people think are very sexy. I just don’t see it, myself.

Today I took my car to the garage. So he (Yes HE, I am gay!! So no why, I am having a female car), could get a much needed service. It should have got it’s last service at 64,000 miles. But I was a very, very bad boy. And did not take it, to the garage, till it had done 85,018 miles. So in other words, I did just 20,018 miles, more then I really should have done.

The service, cost me £400.28. £170, for the labour. £170 for the materials. And of course, VAT which come to £59.62. The service included engine oil, oil filter, 2 front break discs, front break pads, and a lot more. I should list, everything it had done, I don’t read half of their writing.

I am happy that’s the service out of the way. But they did tell, me some very, very bad news. And that is my gear box is on it’s last legs. And will cost me a lot, to get fixed. But that’s another story, all together.

BTW: I have now done just over 31,000 miles in the car. Since I getting him, in October 2004.

When I was leaving the work car park. What did I go and do? But my drive car into a metal post. So the driver’s side door has a big **nded** in it. And does not fully close. It really pissed me, off. Since I remember thinking, to myself. Now Gordon, Gordon, remember that metal post. But then, what did, I go and do, by drive into the damn thing.

I took my car to a local garage to get it MOTed. Which here in the UK. You have to do every year. It failed, but I had a feeling it would do. It only failed on small things. It just me, just £102.31 to get it to pass.

I was very happy when the post came. As I my Shimano M180 cycling shoes that I ordered from Chain Reaction Cycles only yesterday (Friday). They cost me £59.99, full price they would be £79.95, so I made a saving of 25%.

Then I got them out the box it take me a while, to work out how to open the bit where the yellow clips to get them on. I even looked at the manual. Yes they have a manual. I don’t think that I have ever had shoes before that have come with a manual.

Now I have them, I just have to think what pedals I am going to get for them.

Other then getting my new cycling shoes, it was a normal Saturday really. I of course chatted to my boyfriend Rob. And showed him my new shores, using my webcam. He thinks they look nice. He can’t wait to see me in them. And before you start, to worry Rob and myself don’t have a thing about shoes.

Then in the evening I was of course working at the Peterborough Greyhound Stadium. I had a very busy night indeed. Anyone would think it’s getting near to Christmas :). They sold 113 bottles of wine coming to £1,252.25. Which meant a very busy night for me, since I am the one who looks after the wine. If you ask me, it’s better being busy. Then having nothing at all to do. It makes the night go so much faster.

Once I got back from work I chatted to my boyfriend Rob for a while. Before going off-line to watched Casualty, that I had recorded while I was at work. It was of course very good indeed. As it normally is.

Then after that I tuned off my PC and laptop for the night and went to bed at about 2:00am.

I now own a straitjacket!

Myself in a straitjacket 🙂

At long last my straitjacket that I ordered over 1 month ago turned up. I have always wanted to try one out. They are so much fun. Once Rob put me in it, there was no way at all, I could get back out of it. So I guess you will be wanted to know why I have it. Well I will mainly been using it for my Wetsuitlads website. If you want to see some photos of me in it, then click here.

At long last that’s my car fixed, but it ended up costing me £550 to get it fixed. At first it would have only cost between £250 and £300 to get fixed going by the garage. But it went and failed it’s MOT big time. So it ended up costing me more, then double that I was thinking I would have to pay. At least it’s all fixed now. I will know better, then to go and crash again :).

Friday – 25th February 2005

Today has not been a good day at all in the land of driving. I crashed my car!! The main thing is that me and boyfriend Rob, who were both in the car, when it happened are both OK! I just wish I could say the same thing about my car :(.

At least it does look like the garage should be able to put it back together again. I think it will cost me between £200 and £300 to get it fixed. I don’t really want to use my car insurance, because then when I have to renew it, later in the year it will go up. Which I don’t want at all. I find it hard finding the money to pay £707. Never mind finding more, if it went up.
