Despite Faith’s insistence that none of this is her fault, she is scared she’ll be responsible for more deaths. Featuring guest appearances from former cast members, including Amanda Ryan and Sunetra Sarker.

Death in Paradise (BBC 1/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Sunday 17th March 2024)

The team find themselves split between Saint Marie and the island of Saint Auguste, attempting to investigate the mysterious death of a British tourist. When the team uncover a series of startling connections between the victim and other guests at the hotel they were staying at, they realise nothing is quite what it seems in this case. Neville prepares to make a huge next step in his life, and a familiar face returns.

Saving Lives at Sea (BBC 2/HD | 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Tuesday 19th March 2024)

In Dungeness, the crew respond to reports of a small boat in the middle of the shipping lanes, and on the way back to the station they discover the casualty is the subject of a major manhunt. Along Kent’s coast, the Walmer crew race to rescue two divers who have become separated from their support vessel, and in Kinghorn the crew receive a call about an injured sailor near the deserted Inchkeith Island.

Humphrey and Esther join the Shipton Abbott Players for a murder mystery rehearsal. Though Humphrey is only playing a detective, things turn from amateur to professional when the actor playing the victim is found dead with a real knife in his back. As the duo tackle the perplexing crime, they soon unravel a dark past that reveals hidden connections between the actors. Away from the case, Humphrey and Martha embark on the process of becoming foster parents, while Anne catapults herself into the world of online dating. Detective drama, starring Kris Marshall, Sally Bretton and Zahra Ahmadi.

The Railway Map of Britain (Channel 5/HD | 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Friday 22nd March 2024)

How the invention of the railway at the dawn of the 19th century changed the world, and the lives of engineers such as Stephenson, Telford and Brunel. Though great wealth was made on the back of steam power, many rail lines couldn’t break even and huge swathes of them were eventually axed from existence. Cameras also reveal how Britain’s railways are on the move again as HS2 plans to connect the most influential cities with their own high-speed, high-capacity rail line.

Great British Cities with Susan Calman (Channel 5/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Friday 22nd March 2024)

Cambridge. Series 1, episode 3. The comedian explores Cambridge, and enjoys a punt down the river Cam. Susan finds out why free-roaming cows live in the centre, and learns of an unusual turf war between well-heeled students and townies. Later she heads to Fitzbillies, an iconic Cambridge bakery that has fed the city’s students and town folk for over 100 years.
