As a health visitor, Sister Veronica calls on a single mother who is celebrating her recent marriage, only to discover a terrible truth about the seemingly happy relationship. Nancy asks for additional shifts so she can afford more presents for Colette, but comes to realise her spending is getting out of hand. Trixie enrols on a cookery course, and a family secret comes to light when a patient’s baby develops a life-threatening condition.

New Forest. Series 2, episode 3. Paul Merton and Suki Webster explore the New Forest, encountering `commoners” Tess and Ollie, who have earned the right for their ponies to roam freely in the area. With the help of farrier Ben, Suki learns how to remove a horseshoe and takes home her own bit of luck, and the couple visit hives in Hythe for a spot of beekeeping.

With 100 miles of the route conquered, Iain is at the halfway point of his adventure and begins at Leverburgh on Harris. The Impossible Murder. The team investigates the murder of an estate agent, who has been killed ahead of the potential sale of local beauty spot St Agatha’s Cove.
