I’ve been busy trying to fill up the 2022 cycling map! Here is all the places, I’ve cycled to between the 1st January 2022 and 11th July 2022.

95.7 miles of cycling this week!

This week, I did 95.7 miles of cycling. Making it the most miles I’ve done in single week so far during 2022! That may sound a lot… Last year, I was doing that most weeks during the summer! Also had a number of weeks, where I did over 200 miles!

UK TV programmes to watch this week : 09/07/2022

Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams (BBC 1/HD | 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Tuesday 12th July 2022)

Freddie continues his mission to turn a group of lively teenagers from his home town of Preston into a decent competitive team. After the chaos of their first match, some of the boys’ behaviour is threatening the team’s ability to prepare for their next game. However, a surprising new addition gives the boys a fight chance – if only Freddie can keep them under control.

AIDS: The Unheard Tapes (BBC 2/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Monday 11th July 2022)

A look at the search for a cure, with the results of the failed AZT trials in 1993 provoking a backlash against drug companies and sometimes the doctors and nurses caring for patients. Many in the gay and HIV communities began to take further action for themselves, and a wave of revolutionary activism and direct action built momentum. The stories of men including John, Jeremy and Tony, recorded at the time and her voiced by actors, bring these experiences to life.

Mo Farah: My Untold Story (BBC 1/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Wednesday 13th July 2022)

Ten years ago, Mo Farah captured the imagination of sports fans across the nation when he won two gold medals at the London 2012 Olympics. But where did he come from? Judi Dench: Our National Treasure (Channel 5/HD | 9:00pm to 10:30pm | Friday 15th July 2022) ** PICK OF THE WEEK **

A profile of the actress from a strict Quaker upbringing in Yorkshire, through her staunch determination to make it as a thespian. There’s also a look at her work in TV favourites such as A Fine Romance and As Time Goes By, where Judi’s performances won her four BAFTA awards, and her tenure in the James Bond franchise.

WOW! What is going on with me?!?!? That’s me just done the second 30+ mile of the week! Which also means, I’ve now done 3 x 30 mile cycles this year!

So now I need to aim to do another one 40+ mile cycle and also do my first 50+ mile cycle of 2022!

UK TV programmes to watch this week : 02/07/2022

Top Gear (BBC 1/HD | 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Sunday 3rd July 2022)

Freddie Flintoff, Chris Harris and Paddy McGuinness celebrate 100 years of the BBC by tackling 1920s-style motorsport. Continuing the motorsport theme, Paddy also delves into the history of BMW’s legendary M-cars and Chris gets to grips Ford’s new WRC racer. Plus, with electric cars becoming a more common sight on the roads, the team investigates the future of fuel.

 Joe Lycett’s Big Pride Party (Channel 5/HD | 9:00pm to 11:00pm | Sunday 3rd July 2022)

The comedian hosts a live show in Birmingham to celebrate 50 years of Pride. The stories of men including Jeremy, John, Martyn and Tony recorded at the time bring these experiences to life, with their words lip-synced by actors, giving first-hand insight into how they tried to adapt to their lives as part of the `Aids generation’ and struggled with the deaths of those they loved.

Why Buildings Collapse (BBC 2/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Tuesday 5th July 2022)

Documentary examining the collapse of the Champlain Towers South apartment building in Miami in 2021, and looking at the implications for other buildings around the world. The programme explores the factors that might have led to the collapse, and also looks to the future to ask what lessons can be learnt from this disaster.

Baker Street. Tim Dunn and Siddy Holloway explore the tube station with the most platforms, Baker Street.

British Planes That Won the War with Rob Bell (Channel 5/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Friday 8th July 2022)

The engineer tells the story of the Harrier Jump Jet, the first operational aircraft to employ vertical take-off and landing, or VTOL. We meet Harrier pilots who took part in its first combat operation in the Falklands War, and hear about the influential role that the planes played.
