Going by my VeloViewer Infographic, I’ve had 108 active days so far in 2022! Which means, I’ve done at least one cycle or walk each day so far this year!

Hard to believe, that I’ve still done more walking so far in 2022, than cycling! Only cycled 234 miles, but I’ve walked 406 miles!

UK TV programmes to watch this week : 16/04/2022

Doctor Who (BBC 1/HD | 7:10pm to 8:00pm | Sunday 17th April 2022) ** PICK OF THE WEEK **

In this swashbuckling Easter special, the Doctor, Yaz and Dan travel back to the 19th-century and a run-in with notorious pirate queen Madame Ching, who is on the hunt for a legendary lost treasure. An old enemy is rising from the depths, and the Doctor is soon drawn into a confrontation with the ocean-dwelling Sea Devils.

Grand Designs: The Street (Channel 4/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Wednesday 20th April 2022)

Kevin McCloud follows more couples building their own homes in Graven Hill, Oxfordshire. Vineet and Simmi have engaged a friend from the community to construct their new home, blurring the line between friendship and business – and things become even trickier when Vineet changes his mind about the layout mid-project. Prabhjot and Shalini’s new-build is a super-quick kit house which should go up in a matter of weeks. But with such a close community, their home will need to take their friends’ tastes into account as well as their own.

Kate Humble’s Coastal Walks (Channel 5/HD | 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Friday 22nd April 2022)

On the Scottish Borders, Kate walks almost 15 miles from the historic fishing village of St Abbs to England’s most northerly town, Berwick Upon Tweed. Her trek starts on St Abbs Head, from where she descends to St Abbs harbour, named after a Northumbrian Princess and Saint, Ebba, who was shipwrecked and founded a nearby monastery in the 7th century.

Thatcher & Reagan: A Very Special Relationship (BBC 2/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Sunday 3rd April 2022) ** PICK OF THE WEEK **

Part one of two. Margaret Thatcher’s authorised biographer Charles Moore explores the formr prime minister’s extremely close relationship with US president Ronald Reagan in the 1980s. The two leaders came together in the shadow of the Cold War and nuclear Armageddon, and Charles meets the people who were in the room with them as they faced the great challenge of their age.

Falklands War: The Forgotten Battle (itv/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Thursday 7th April 2022)

Ben Fogle uncovers the untold story of a small garrison of British Marines and the battle they fought against near-impossible odds during the Falklands War.
