The adventurer explores the impact of humans on the Lake District, discovering that the high number of visitors to Scafell Pike is damaging England’s highest peak and stretching the resources of mountain rescue volunteers. The documentary celebrates the 50th anniversary of classic movie The Railway Children with a steam train ride through the Yorkshire moors and recalls the winter storms that washed away the south Devon.

Three more promising pups compete for the Scotland’s Best Dog title, with Bernese Mountain Dog Brannigan, Luna the miniature Jack Russell and Staffordshire Terrier Tonka showcasing their canine credentials.
