Susan Calman’s Big Seaside Holiday (Channel 5/HD | 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Monday 28th June 2021)

The comedian visits seaside resorts around the UK, beginning in Great Yarmouth, where she is joined by Joe Pasquale. Susan starts her tour with a visit to the lord mayor, who sends her off with a list of things to see and do. She takes part in a synchronised swimming performance at Britain’s last surviving circus building, takes a ride on a 1930s rollercoaster, and learns the secret of putting words into a stick of rock.

Susan Calman’s Big Seaside Holiday (Channel 5/HD | 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Tuesday 29th June 2021)

The comedian explores Brighton, joined by Zoe Lyons. The tour begins at the famous viewing tower, and takes in the toy museum and a game of volleyball on one of the few areas on sandy beach the famously shingle-covered coastline has. Susan also tries her hand at the games on Brighton Palace Pier and discovers why the town is becoming famous for locally produced wine.

101 Years of Tesco (Channel 5/HD | 7:00pm to 8:00pm | Wednesday 30th June 2021)

The retailer’s transformation from a cut-price upstart to market leader. After the death of its founder Jack Cohen in 1979, the company was in the middle of a high-risk transition and an outside takeover was a real danger. Ian MacLaurin, Jack Cohen’s first management trainee, was chief executive at the time. His vision for the company was very different from Jack’s pile-it-high, sell-it cheap approach. He set out to transform the company and compete with the number one retailer Sainsbury’s – something that was achieved in 1995.

Susan Calman’s Big Seaside Holiday (Channel 5/HD | 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Wednesday 30th June 2021)

The comedian continues her trip around the UK visiting seaside resorts. In the third episode, Susan reaches her next destination, St Ives. Here, she meets Gyles Brandreth, who discusses his personal connection to the famous resort.

Susan also creates her own ice cream sundae, takes part in a training exercise with a local lifeboat crew, and talks to Birds of a Feather star Linda Robson about why she has been coming to the town since she was a child.

Wetsuit fun at local least used railway station!

I’ve been told, a number of times my photos are starting to get boring! So, of course had to fix that! I went to local, least used railway station. Which gets less than, 200 passengers in an avenge year and only two trains a day and none on a Sunday!
