The three teams in the second semi-final are challenged to build a track based on a blockbuster movie in just three days. The Railmen of Kent recreate the wizarding world of Harry Potter, complete with broomsticks, giant spiders and enchanted cars. Wild card entry Muddle and Go Nowhere base their track on James Bond, while Who’s Counting Rivets pay homage to Jurassic Park with a dinosaur-infested creation..
Saving Lives at Sea (BBC 2/HD | 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Tuesday 22nd October 2019)
RNLI volunteers at Calshot on the south coast race to the rescue of a 180-metre-long cargo ship which has run aground on a sandbank, and is now listing at a dangerous angle. At the most northerly lifeboat station on the British mainland, the crew gets called out to investigate a personal locator beacon which has been set off on a remote stretch of rocky coastline, and in Kinsale, volunteers come to the aid of a horse.

Sara Cox helps Welsh shepherd Ioan get a leg up the love ladder, but when he invites three ladies back home, his demanding work threatens to obstruct his shot at romance. The stories of six epic train journeys, seen through the characters who travel, work and live near them. The first programme rides through Canada’s iconic Rocky Mountaineer train in a jaw-dropping loop from Vancouver to the heart of the Rockies, through some of North America’s most staggering natural beauty, and on to Banff in Alberta. The journey also ventures through the spiral tunnels and shows how to track bears with the National Park rangers. Narrated by Bill Nighy.
Caravanning with Shane Richie (Channel 5/HD | 9:00pm | 10:00pm | Friday 25th October 2019)
The former Pontins bluecoat heads to north devon to stay in a static caravan on a park owned by of one of the biggest holiday park chains in the UK. The park boasts its own entertainment centre, swimming pool, nature reserve and even its own private beach. He is later joined by one of his oldest friends who, just like him, is a former holiday park entertainer. Peter joins Shane on a visit to a theme park with a difference, and the duo attend a D-Day re-enactment at a local beach, complete with vintage jeeps and aircraft.
