Grand Union Canal : Long Buckby to Birdingbury Wharf ✅
That’s us just done another part of the Grand Union Canal. This time, we walked from Long Buckby to Birdingbury Wharf. A distance of 14.54 miles.
The route we took can be found over at www.strava.com/activities/2381297851 and www.strava.com/activities/2381427436. It’s in two parts, due to my GPS watch going flat. So had to change over to using my phone.
Here are some photos from day 12 of our Grand Union Canal walk.

Now running Windows 10!
At long, long last, I’ve upgraded to Windows 10 Pro, from Windows 7 Pro. It was a system rebuild, since I’ve had a new SSD hard drive installed! Which now means my PC boots faster than my mobile phone does.
But of course, since it rebuild. I’ve had to reinstall everything! Got all the main software back working again. Which includes… Audacity, Firefox, GIMP, gPodder, LibreOffice, WinSCP and many more.
Next job is getting the video editing software installed, so I can start doing new vlogs again! 😛

London King’s Cross railway station ✅
Yes, I did tick off London King’s Cross railway station, a long time ago! Way back in 30th November 2002 in fact. But like more others, I always head straight to underground and head into the centre of London. But not this time, for once I walked the other way and went to end of the platforms to get some photos…

Another great day in London!
That was another great day out in London, with my older brother Douglas. We did so much during, our mini day trip….
We did the following:-
- London Transport Museum
- British Museum
- Science Museum
- Natural History Museum
Was great doing both the London Transport Museum and the British Museum. Since I had never too them before.
The Science Museum and the Natural History Museum, I had been too before, but not for well over 10 years! So could not really, remember them at all.
