Behind-the-scenes documentary series about one of the UK’s busiest transport hubs and the western rail network it serves. A fatality on the line at Slough station means closing the station and the line, leading to a standstill at Paddington. A Thai pricess and her entourage are eager for a tour of the station. Thieves have robbed a scrapyard and used the railway track to get away.

Documentary series. Michael Portillo unlocks the doors to four extraordinary abandoned locations. Built in the East End of London 250 years ago and closed in 2013, the Royal London Hospital pioneered medical breakthroughs and healthcare for generations of people.
