That was sure a great walk around Whalley in Lancashire. Just funny to think, that if, I had not moved to Scotland when I was, very, very young. That’s the area, I would have growing up in! Since I was born in Chorley and use to live in Leyland…
Anyway back to the walk, I can’t get over just how nice Whalley is! So much going on, for a small village!
The walk was just over 6 miles! You can check out the route we took over at www.strava.com/activities/1539712837

Just having a great cycle around Twyford Wood, which back in the 1940s was RAF North Witham. Also a look around the outside of the old control tower.
Yep a more normal UK April has started! Which can mean only one thing, April showers! At least the wetsuit was keeping me nice and warm!
I’ve cycling into these woods many times before… but never via this route… So not 100% sure where, I am!!! Lucky I did find my way out in the end!
It’s always fun Fun cycling down public bridleways, since you are never 100% sure where you will end up! Which I found out today, ended up in some woods, that I’ve been into many miles before, but never from direction.
So once in the woods, I was no idea where I was… But lucky I have full OS maps downloaded to my phone, so when with out a mobile network, I can still see where I am…
You can check out the route, I took over at www.strava.com/activities/1527074330
