Yorkshire: A Year in the Wild (Channel 5/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Tuesday 11th April 2017)

Winter is slowly setting in, and for the grey seals at Ravenscar Beach it is time to give birth. Elsewhere, migrating short eared owls arrive hungry, but competition is tight. Roe deer must fend off the cold, but for salmon at the end of their odyssey, the chill means the time has come to spawn.

Me and My Dog (BBC 2/HD | 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Wednesday 12th April 2017)

Chris Packham hosts a physical and mental competition in the Lake District, where eight owners and their dogs compete together in a series of challenges, all in a bid to make it to the grand final. Programme two’s challenges are all designed to test the levels of trust between the owners and their dogs.

Tony Robinson: Coast to Coast (Channel 5/HD | 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Friday 14th April 2017)

Hands-on history travelogue about the 200-mile coast-to-coast walking trail made famous by Alfred Wainwright. Tony Robinson reaches the North Yorkshire Moors, visiting the ruins of Rievaulx Abbey and the orchards of Ampleforth Abbey. He also goes up in a glider, rides on a giant combine harvester, revives his woodworking skills, meets an enterprising food expert and a sawmill boss, and learns about the campaigning movement that led to the creation of the National Parks.

The Last Leg (Channel 4/HD | 10:00pm to 11:05pm | Friday 14th April 2017)

Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe examine the biggest, most entertaining news stories via the #isitok twitter handle, where viewers tweet in edgy current affairs questions that other shows might duck. Each week a celebrity guest joins the team to dissect the week’s events.
