That was great drive back to England

That’s me back in England after a great drive back home! Went on many roads, I’ve ever been on before! Don’t ask me which way, I went. Since I have no idea at all!

But I some how did end up at Dent railway station, which happens to be the highest railway station in England!

Here are some photo from the drive. Was hoping to take many more! But it was raining most of the time!!! 🙁

Waiting for the rain to stop!

Just seating in my car wearing Lycra, like you do! Hoping that the rain will stop! So I can go and take more Lycra photos… But of course, it did not stop! So this photo, will have to do!

Oh and yes, it’s my birthday! I turned 37!!! Getting way to close, to 40 for my liking!

Crow Road and the Stockiemuir cycle

That truly was an amazing cycle! First time, I’ve done in Scotland in a long time! This route, more than made for not cycling in Scotland for a good number of years!

The cycle took me from Killearn to Balfron, then to Fintry then over the Crow Road! Then into Strathblane, up onto the Stockiemuir then back into Killearn via Gartness Road!

Check out the killer hills the route took me over at www.strava.com/activities/725740790.

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph, route statistics and photos.

That was an amazing holiday!

That sure was an amazing holiday in Cyprus! My third time on the island. The more, I go the more I love it!

Just still hot fully use to how hot it gets, even in September. So was hotter than 28C every day. Even at night it was not much cooler.

Once I get back to England on Thursday. I will make sure, I more lots of photos to my website. Of course, I’ve already posted many to Facebook, Twitter etc…

Just hoping, if the weather is not to bad in Scotland. I get some miles in on my bike. Can’t remember the last time, I did any cycling in my adopted home country.

Things I will not miss…

Here are two things I will not miss once I get back home!

Sleeping in a single sized bed! Lost count of the number of times I’ve just about falling out of it!

Of course the main thing, I will not miss. Is having to put toilet paper in the bin, instead of down the loo…

Only two full days left!

I’ve only got two full days in Cyprus. Since I am flying back to Scotland late Saturday evening.

When I get back to Scotland, the much colder weather is going to take a while to get use to!

But of course, I am still hoping I will get at least one Scottish cycle in. Before heading back to England on the 29th September, which also happens to be my 37 birthday!
