Now we have lost, the East Coast Trains railway franchises to Virgin East Coast trains. It got me looking back, at some of the GNER photos, I have taken. GNER still has to be favourite livery of all time!

I do agree the livery did look great on the class 91’s. You’ve also captured a slice of history in the form of the class 373, ‘North of London’ Eurostar set, that ill fated decision to run direct services to Paris from Leeds etc.
It was a shame when the train company pulled out due to financial issues.
Hopefully, public feeling will convince Virgin to reinstate the rewards scheme.
