This is first for my website a update in the middle of a cycle. Should even show the location all going well.
Will post even more photos from the cycle when I get back home :).
Sorry I know this photo got nothing at all to do with what I normally post. But he’s super HOT. So just had to post it here.
I have just gone and ordered some more cycling gear. Since the evenings are getting colder and Wiggle have a sale on. I sent off for some Agu Rabobank Team arm and leg warmers. They will finish off the rest of the Agu Rabobank Team gear that I have.
Agu Rabobank Team Arm Warmers – 2011
Getting them for £20.80. Full price would be £32, so making a saving of £11.20 (35%).
Agu Rabobank Team Leg Warmers – 2011
Getting them for £33.60. Full price would be £48, so making a saving of £14.40 (30%).
Once they turn up, I will make sure I get lots of photos wearing them with the rest of the cycling set.
I bet most of you are so bored of my cycling posts. Since right now, it’s about the only thing I post. So if you can think of anything you would like to hear about then please let me know.
I also need ideas for a new poll.
Had great fun cycling from Little Bytham, to Thorney, Whittlesey, Peterborough then back home to Little Bytham. Around 30 miles of this route covered roads I had never cycled on before. I had driven on most of them before, but that’s not the same. Also had my first real look around Whittlesey. Which is where most of the dog track staff come from. I also found 11 more geocaches bring my total to 103. I could have found many, many more during the cycle. But I run of out day light. Did not get home till gone 10:30pm the way it was.
You can check out the route at connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/106873379
So now on with some of the statistics from the cycle.
Here is a nice map of the full cycle.
After the cycle I went for a quick drink with Alex, Chris and Mark at the Willoughby Arms. When I say a drink, I mean a Pepsi. So over all it was a great day. Till my PC monitor died on me. But that’s story for another day.
I can’t belive that I have done 19,999.5 miles on the bike, since April 2003. If I had knowing I was only half a mile away from the big 20,000 miles. I would have stayed out on the bike for just a bit longer. The way I am going I will have beating last years record of 4,001.3 miles by the end of the month. Since I only have to do 561.6 miles before the month is out. Then I have till the end of the year to try to do 1,000 to get up to 5,000 which is my goal by the end of the year.
Oh I am sure you will have worked it out by now, I was doing more Geocaching while out in the bike. I found 6, so bringing my total finds up to 88. Hoping to get that to 100 before the week is out. So just hope that the weather stays nice. Glad that I did not lose anything while out, yesterday I went and lost a set of keys, never lost a set of keys in my life, till now.
I did have some bad luck wile out on the bike, I had not even done 5 miles. When I got a flat tyre but at the least it was the front for once, so did not take to long to fix.
Here are some photos from the cycle:-
Oh and before I go. Did you know this website is in the top 10 cycle blog rankings in the UK? Well it is, and if you don’t believe me check out kimbofo.typepad.com/londoncyclingdiary/2011/08/sneek-peek-of-augusts-cycle-blog-rankings.html. So that is one of the reasons I have been posting so much cycling stuff.
